Integration – Import Telavox Users as Units

This article will guide you in setting up a preconfigured integration to import users from Telavox and add them as units in a group in Bosbec.

You will need an account for Telavox and Bosbec.

You’ll also need to find the following information from Telavox:

Telavox

  1. API Token

Preparing the account

  1. In the Bosbec admin panel, create a group under ResourcesGroups.
  2. Open the group details and copy the group ID.
  3. Go to Settings in the top-right and select Account Settings.
  4. Under Account Secrets, add the following:
KeyValue
telavox_tokenYour Telavox API token

Setting up the workflow

Once you’ve prepared the account, follow the steps below to configure the workflow.

  1. Go to Workflows in the Bosbec admin panel.
  2. Click the yellow plus sign (+) to create a new workflow.
  3. Give your workflow a name, then click Save.
  4. Double-click your new workflow, or click the edit icon, to open it.
  5. Select FileImport from wfb file and import the .wfb file available for download at the top of this article.
  6. Double-click the Unit Pipeline 2 – “Delete all” job. At the bottom, enter the Group ID from the group you created in the preparation step.
    • Note: In this example, all existing contacts are removed and re-added on each run. An alternative approach would be to build a lookup that updates, removes, and only adds new entries — this is useful if you store additional information on a unit.
  7. Double-click Unit Pipeline 1 – “Add new”. Scroll to the bottom of the job and enter the same Group ID as in step 6.
  8. Click FileSave.
  9. Set your workflow to Active by toggling the switch next to Run (top right).

You can now run the workflow manually by clicking Run!

To automate the import, add a Scheduled trigger at the beginning of the workflow and configure how often it should run – double-click the trigger to set the schedule.
