This article will guide you in setting up a pre-configured integration to log any calls made to Telia Smart Connect to the corresponding contact in Salesforce.
You will need an account for Telia Smart Connect, Salesforce, and Bosbec.
Preparing the account
This workflow requires synchronizing the Smart Connect and Salesforce contacts to your account, as the caller’s phone number will be matched to a Salesforce ID to log the call. You can find a guide on how to do this here: Integration – Import Salesforce Contacts to Smart Connect.
If you’ve already followed and set up the workflow from the guide above, you can skip the following preparation steps. However, if you have built a different Salesforce sync, make sure that you have the following settings.
- Go to Settings at the top right and select Account Settings.
- At the bottom left, under Account, enter the data in the table below.
| Key | Value |
| tsc_username | Username for Telia Smart Connect |
| tsc_password | Password for Telia Smart Connect |
| salesforce_base_url | Your URL for Salesforce. Example of format: https://demo.my.salesforce.com |
| salesforce_consumer_key | Consumer Key found in Salesforce |
| salesforce_consumer_secret | Consumer Secret found in Salesforce |
Creating the workflow
When you’ve prepared the account, you can follow the steps below to set up the workflow.
- Go to Workflows in the Bosbec admin panel.
- Click the yellow plus sign (+) to create a new workflow.
- Give your workflow a name, for example: Telia Smart Connect – Log calls to Salesforce.
- Click Save.
- Double-click your new workflow, or click the edit icon, to open it.
